Why Me Alex Demertzis and Katerina Moutsatsou(Moutsatsos) are making such a fuss that the truth about us Hellenes that for a long time we have been called Greeks only because of the Greco-Roman influence!!!
And that's wrong, wrong, wrong dead wrong!!!
I live in Melbourne Australiaa nd Katerina lives in L.A. California!! And yet no matter the far way distance, inside of us grew that love for Hellas and Hellenism. However the truth is that we 're not Greeks we are Hellenes... And the word Elle means Sun-Light from the Hellenic word Ellios which means sun!
I arrived in Melbourne Australia in 1972 and as 9yo tender boy and i had a lovely teacher which liked me and helped me very much in my picking up the English language as from grade 2. Anyways there were two kids in my class who were from other countries it was me and an other Italian girl... So the teacher asked me one day "you 're Greek aren't you Alex"? And here's what i replied to her. "With all due respect Miss B. i am a Hellene"! And she said oh is that so? And i continued that's right Miss I'm a Hellene not Greek!
And so guys/girls readers, i had to wait until around 1.30am of the 26th of April 2012 as i was surfing through Facebook to realize that God had sent and guided one more Person one more Hellene to actually come up in public and even make a Video of this truth/fact!! :)...
Wow i was so touched with emotion big time when on my computer came Katerina Moutsatsos an American Hellenic girl to speak out on video saying "i am Hellene" about what I believed in for 40 whole years without any of the
Greek-Australian youths ever waking up to themselves and to this Great revelation which God had revealed to me way back in 1972!!!!!
So I am so relieved and glad with rejoice that that Glorious moment of revelation came to me after 40
years of thinking there's no use in hoping in these Hellenic youths of Australia they 'll never wake up
to themselves to actually see the truth about their true identity :( so just let 'em be wrongly called greeks, and then all of the sudden that morning of the 26th of April Katerina's Video of " I am Hellene" on the facebook pages made all the difference on this Identity issue :)!!!!!
